Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins completes move to English league
English Championship side Cardiff City have announced their fourth signing, Jamilu Collins, continuing their rapid start to the summer.
The Super Eagles left-back joined the Bluebirds on Thursday, from German second-tier side SC Paderborn.
Collins, a 27-year-old, signed a two-year contract with the Bluebirds and is expected to help Steve Morison's Championship side seek promotion to England's top flight: the Premier League, next season.
Collins excited about his move
The left-back after signing his contract at Cardiff City Stadium revealed he couldn't resist a chance to fight for a spot in the Premier League.

“I’m really excited to be in Cardiff, and I can’t wait to get started," he said to the Welsh club after his announcement.
“The Club has great history, and when I got the call to come to Cardiff, I was so excited, I couldn’t resist. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the new season.
The goal is to fight for the Premier League. I can’t wait to meet the supporters and to fight for the jersey."
Versatility for Cardiff City
Although Collins' primary position is the left-back, the player's versatility could be a significant positive for him in the Cardiff team, as he can play as a centre-back, wing-back, and on the left side of midfield.
Speaking after his arrival, Bluebirds boss Steve Morison said, “I’m over the moon. We’ve been monitoring him for a long period, and we’re really pleased to get him signed.
"He’s a great athlete, a really good left-back, and can play in that left wing-back position as well. I’m really pleased that we’ve got competition for places.
I want to get as many bodies in for the start of pre-season because the first 10 days of pre-season are going to be huge."
Joel Bagan is Cardiff City's sole recognised senior left-back.
Collins featured for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) this year and played for 90 minutes in the 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau.
