Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has ended his ties with Nigerian Football Federation, having announced on his Twitter page citing breach of contract and poor welfare of his players and coaching staff.
News have emerged in recent weeks of a fall out between Oliseh and the Glass House which had been prolonged till the moment of resignation.
His Twitter post was direct and brief, bluntly stating his dissatisfaction which prompted his resignation.
He however thanked his former bosses for the opportunity given to him to steer the Super Eagles to glory, which many would agree never came to pass.
A recent controversy surrounding the coach emerged, where he stated that he does not feel safe doing his job, as he feels some individuals within the sport ministry are trying to hinder his work as the Super Eagles head coach.
Oliseh also claimed that he is also a target of witchcraft, a situation that forced him to leave the country earlier in the year in his bid to protect himself.
The former Super Eagles midfielder was in the middle of qualification matches to the 2016 Rio Olympics before all the issues began to unfold.
His main tournament as coach was during the 2016 African Nations Championship, also known as CHAN hosted by Rwanda and won by the Democratic Republic of Congo.
