Stephen Curry and the Warriors miss the playoffs: Phoenix dominates Golden State
The Suns established a significant lead early, finishing the first quarter with a dominant 33-15 score.
However, Golden State managed to cut the deficit to just five points in the second quarter, setting the stage for what promised to be a tight second half.
Yet, Phoenix steadily pulled away. They claimed the third quarter 28-24, and then routinely closed out the game in the final period, winning it 33-27.
Jalen Green delivered a dominant performance, scoring an impressive 36 points. His impact was clear, especially considering Golden State's Brandin Podziemski was the next highest scorer with 23 points.
Stephen Curry had an uncharacteristically quiet night, tallying "only" 17 points.
Phoenix will now face Oklahoma City in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, with their opening game on the road.
