The outside hitter has already arrived in Lisbon and expressed her excitement for this new chapter in her career. "I'm very happy because this club is huge, and I've only heard good things. I know they take care of their athletes here, and the arena is incredible," the athlete told the club's media, adding that she already feels at home. "The weather is good, and I'm very happy. I feel like this is a very good place."

Her decision to move to Portugal was driven by a desire to develop as a player, receiving approval from André Sá, the Portuguese coach who leads the Finnish women's national team. "I want to play at my best level, and I felt this was the best way. Our national coach is Portuguese and also told me that this is a good country, that the level is good, superior to Finland's," Aronen revealed.

To ease her transition, Aronen will reunite with compatriot Lina Ratti at Alvalade, who is also a new signing for the season. "I feel more secure being here with Lina. We'll be sharing an apartment, which is also great. My parents in Finland are more at ease," she explained, highlighting the advantage of being able to communicate in Finnish during training.

Confident, the athlete arrives with ambitions of winning titles in what she anticipates will be a competitive league. "I know the demands here are higher, so I hope that after this season, my level will be even higher. We will fight for every ball, in every game," she assured, making a promise to the fans: "I promise to be aggressive in attack, bring good energy to the court, and fight for every ball."
