Spain now proudly displays a second star on their emblem after their World Cup victory over Argentina. This triumph brought with it iconic images that will forever be etched in Spanish football history. Rodri hoisted the trophy skyward in New York, surrounded by his teammates and coach Luis de la Fuente. However, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, also appeared in the frame, despite some players' attempts to usher him off the stage.

Footage from the celebrations clearly shows Trump failing to exit the frame at the moment the trophy was lifted. FIFA President Gianni Infantino was also seen attempting to move the American statesman. While King Felipe VI and Spanish Football Federation President Rafael Lozano remained in the background, Trump did not. Nevertheless, in the final photo published by the national team on their 'X' social media account, the Republican is nowhere to be seen.

After Spain's victory, as players, coaching staff, families, and fans began to grasp the magnitude of becoming world champions, all eyes were on how Trump would react during the trophy presentation. It's worth recalling that he was part of the Club World Cup photo last summer when he presented the trophy to winners Chelsea.

Trump greeted the Spanish players with a smile, attempting to interact with most of them, who in turn responded with handshakes and accepted their medals.
