Nigerian veteran singer Sound Sultan has revealed why he invested in Nigerian basketball team, the Lagos Islanders.

Sultan who is a veteran in the Nigerian music industry with six albums and several awards, last year bought some stakes in the Lagos Islanders.

Speaking to Pulse TV, the ‘area singer’ revealed that his passion for basketball made him to invest in the sports.

“Passion is the major force for motivation,” the 39-year-old singer said.

Sultan went to recalled that he played for Dodan Warriors in the Nigerian Division One but left the sports for music which was more viable for him at that time.

“I have never been a 9-5 guy, it was either music or basketball for me,” Sultan said.

The Naija Ninja owner says he feels fulfilled now after investing in a basketball team.
