Manchester United legend in secret meeting with Spurs boss, Pochettino
Ferguson and Pochettino were pictured leaving Scott’s Restaurant in Mayfair where they had lunch.
Pochettino was with his assistant Jesus Perez during the secret meeting with former Manchester United manager.
The meeting has prompted speculations linking the Argentine with United with Louis van Gaal looking to leave this summer.
Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked the United job but it is also rumoured that Ferguson is not a fan of the Portuguese.
Ferguson is known to be an admirer of Pochettino, who recently agreed to a new five-year-deal at Spurs.
“Well, the manager [Pochettino] has been fantastic,” the United legend once said about the 44-year-old manager.
“They have a bad record of managers, there is no doubt about that. They have had so many over the years, but this lad has composure.
'You never see him ruffled and the way his team play is a testimony to the work he is doing.”
Pochettino need just a win in Tottenham’s last game to become the first Spurs manager to finish above Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.
