Made completely of glass is the Haohan Qiao, translated roughly in English as 'brave men's bridge'.
Despite it's scary appearance, it's creators insist the bridge, which just opened recently in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park, is perfectly safe.
"The bridge we build will stand firm even if tourists are jumping on it. The steel frame used to support and encase the glass bridge is also very strong and densely built, so even if a glass is broken, travelers won't fall through."
Originally a wooden bridge, the bridge is now made totally of glass panes that are 24 millimeters thick and 25 times stronger than normal glass.
