In the clash against the Denver Nuggets, the Thunder star finished with 17 points, shooting 6-of-19 from the field, 3-of-11 from three-point range, and a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.

That performance snapped an NBA-record run of 141 consecutive games scoring at least 20 points. The league star maintained this remarkable scoring pace for nearly two full years, a streak that began on November 1, 2024, and ran through October 20, 2026.

The second-longest streak in league history belongs to the legendary Wilt Chamberlain, who recorded 126 consecutive 20-point games between 1961 and 1963.

Following the final buzzer, Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault explained that Gilgeous-Alexander himself asked to be subbed out rather than stay on the court.
