"We're facing an incredibly tough mini-cycle, with two games in just three days. Honestly, I'm disappointed that the ABA League didn't show understanding for our request to postpone this match. I believe our qualification for the EuroLeague playoffs is a significant benefit and reflects well on the ABA League itself. That's how it's been in the past, and I don't see why it shouldn't be the case now. Since the decision stands, we're focusing on the task at hand and aim to play a strong game. We know each other well; this will be our fourth encounter this season, so there are no secrets between us. Good energy, solid defense, and an inspired individual performance have always been the keys to a positive result in these types of games," stated Saša Obradović, as reported on the club's website.
Crvena Zvezda basketball player Stefan Miljenović acknowledged the challenge but affirmed his team's commitment to giving their all.
"It will be challenging, as we have two games on Sunday and Tuesday. For the derby, no special preparation is needed; it's all about focus, toughness, and the desire to win, which is never lacking in such matches. A good result on Sunday would only serve as further motivation for Tuesday's clash with Barcelona," said Stefan Miljenović.

The ABA League did not show understanding and refused to postpone the eighth-round Top 8 phase ABA League game. Just 45 hours later, including travel to Barcelona, our team is scheduled to play against the hosts in Blaugrana for the first game of the EuroLeague Play-In phase.
