The insurgent group has wreaked havoc in the northern part of both countries, displacing thousands from their homes.

The football legend has now set up Yellow Whistle Blower Foundation in a bid to raise awareness and funds for families that have been affected by the insurgency.

The launch of the charity foundation took place yesterday at the Claridges Hotel in London.
