Ugonma Chiori - McCreamyz Cakes

McCreamyz Cakes is a company that makes cupcakes and other baked products in a wide array of gourmet flavours, strictly on demand and for all kinds of occasions.

The company, which started in 2010, also provides freshly baked dessert tables at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, "just because" cupcakes - also freshly baked - for friends and loved ones, amongst other services.

Ugonma Chiori, founder of the company and a graduate of Linguistics from the University of Uyo, says the company initially didn't start out with cakes, because capital was not enough.

According to Chiori, the company initially started out with ChinChin production on a N3,000 start up capital due to lack of funds.

In an amazing display of determination, wit and a sheer desire for excellence, Chiori was able to build from there, and today, 5 years later, she has been able to build a fledgling brand associated with excellent cupcakes and desserts.

Chiori in an interview with Pulse TV's Rising Dragons Series, explained that power, amongst other things is the main challenge as regards the running and functioning of the company.

Presently, McCreamyz Cakes is based in Uyo but the company offers its services all over the country, barring logistic hindrances.
