Pulse, RDM, DealDey clash in exciting football battles

E-commerce platform DealDey was welcomed into the Ringier Nigeria family with a football tournament played on Friday, April 15.

It was a three-way battle between DealDey who joined Ringier last month, Pulse Nigeria and Ringier Digital Marketing (RDM) at Meadow Hall School, Lekki.

Despite finishing level with the same point with RDM, Pulse emerged winner courtesy of a better goal difference.

Pulse played out a 1-1 draw with RDM before beating DealDey 2-0. RDM had earlier beaten Dealdey by a lone goal.

Pulse Nigeria finished with four points and a goal difference of +2 while RDM finished with same point but with a goal difference of +1.

DealDey, though not finishing with any point brought a lot of fun to the pitch.

Game One: RDM 1-0 DealDey

DealDey kicked off its debut at the Ringier Football Cup with a  defeat to RDM.  RDM got the winning goal through General Manager of Ringier Nigeria, Mark Slade to kick off the tournament with a win.

Game Two: RDM 1 - 1 Pulse

After beating DealDey, RDM squared up with Pulse Nigeria in an intense game that was still goalless at half-time. Slade, again was on the score sheet as he gave RDM the lead with a fierce shot early in the second half before Nuel Anaba equalised for Pulse.

Game Three: Pulse 2 - 0 DealDey

Pulse Nigeria rounded up the tournament with with a 2-0 win over the whooping boys Dealday in the third game. After a goalless first half, Chuey netted a brace to make sure Pulse got the much needed win, thereby winning the tournament.

It was a fun and exciting evening with lots of laughter and bants.
