NFL Wrong In Penalising Husain Abdullah Over Muslim Prayer

Husain Abdullah, a devout Muslim and Kansas City Chiefs player was penalised for bowing to prayer in an NFL game which they won 41-14 over New England Patriots on Monday

Abdullah dropped to his knees after making a touchdown from a 39-yard interception in the game and received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty

Officials of the NFF on Tuesday said that the 29 year-old should have not been penalised

FL spokesman Michael Signora said

A civil liberties and advocacy organisation, The Council on American-Islamic Relations(CAIR), reacted to the penalty on Tuesday, calling the NFL to revisit its rules on Religious display

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper said.
