Gossip: LaLiga giants Real Madrid eye January move for £54m-rated Wilfred Ndidi
Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could be playing in the Spanish LaLiga this January.
The 24-year-old has continued to attract interest from top European clubs with LaLiga giants Real Madrid the latest, according to latest transfer gossip from Spain.
As per the reports, Ndidi is seen within Madrid as the ideal player to replace Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, who is admired in Paris by Ligue 1 big spenders Paris Saint Germain, PSG.
Los Blancos could make a swoop as early as this January for the £54m-rated Leicester star, who has been a subject of intense transfer speculation since he joined the Foxes in 2017.
He has been a regular at the King Power Stadium with clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid said to be keen admirers of the world class enforcer.
Ndidi has established himself as one of the best midfielders in England since moving to the Premier League from Belgian club Genk four years ago.
The midfielder, who is back with the Super Eagles after missing the last international break due to injury, has made 187 appearances for Leicester, scoring nine goals and assisting 11 others.
