Negotiations for Yann Diomande's transfer from RB Leipzig to Real Madrid have stalled after the German club failed to respond to the Spanish giants' latest offer. According to Sky Sports, RB Leipzig continues to demand a fee of €120 million plus bonuses for the 19-year-old Ivorian international. This impasse has led to a temporary halt in discussions between the two parties.
Diomande himself is eager to join Real Madrid and prefers not to travel with his current team for their pre-season training camp in Austria, which commences today. A final decision regarding his participation in the preparations is expected later today.
Should he be required to travel to Austria, the winger hopes to be excused from training and to miss the friendly match against third-tier side Verl. By doing so, he aims to avoid any risk of injury that could jeopardize his potential move to Madrid.
Real Madrid is reportedly prepared to pay up to €135 million for Diomande, a sum that includes bonuses. Talks between the two clubs are expected to resume in the coming days.
