The versatile midfielder, who contributed 9 goals and 4 assists in Ligue 1, enjoyed a highly successful debut season with Marseille. Speaking to Carré, the French international (51 caps, 6 goals) discussed his first year in the southern French city.

Rabiot, who wears the number 25 shirt, voiced his confusion about his absence from the Ligue 1 Team of the Season. "I remember talking to someone from the UNFP (French players' union) who told me it was ridiculous that I wasn't in the team," he explained. "I told him I'm a top-three midfielder in the league this season, and not third!" He added, "I don't need that recognition to know I had a great season."

Rabiot echoed similar sentiments regarding manager Roberto De Zerbi's omission from the list of nominated coaches. "The coach doesn't need an award to know what he's capable of," he stated.

Finally, the former Juventus player touched on Marseille's potential transfer activity. "Throughout the season, players have asked me about the project at Marseille and what the coach is like," Rabiot revealed. "Marseille, with Champions League football, is bound to attract interest and very good players." Rabiot's contract with Marseille runs until June 2026.
