Wizkid Denies Arrest Rumours

The reports which claimed that Wizkid had been whisked off to the police station after he had gotten into a confrontation with hotel security for smoking an illegal substance in their premises, on October 25, 2014, turned out to be nothing but rumours.

Responding to the news in an interview, his manager Seun said:

It could be recalled that Wizkid was seen partying that same day, at the Henessy Artistry Event which held at MVP lounge, Lekki. A situation most unlikely to happen if indeed he had been arrested that same day.
