1. Arrive on time

Reach your location early, when the sun is still well away from the horizon. Keep taking photos as the sun goes down, this is very advisable as the light keeps changing. Don’t leave until the night sets in.

2. Prepare to improvise

Not every location would be able to accommodate a tripod and all your shenanigans.

If you do need a tripod, try bracing your camera against a railing, so that you could get a two-second exposure in the low light.

3. Never give up

You never can tell what a little rain, fog or haze would do to that photo you are about to take.

4. Always wander

It’s best to explore a city on foot. Whether you’re up high, capturing skylines, or down low, shooting street scenes, wandering is often when you discover moments of magic.

5. Dont only go to the famous spots

The most popular spots are not necessarily the best. Always keep that in mind.

You could take a dope ass shot from the rear of your car!
