What Is The 'Girls Rock ' Project About?

Girls Rock is a foundation aimed at passing valuable information , preaching healthy self belief and healthy competition.

The foundation is for all girls in the rural areas and grassroot levels who believe that they can't be better than what their environment affords them.

It is a foundation targeted at young girls of primary and secondary school age. Many of the problems of women kind can easily minimized when we as women begin to pass on valuable information such as healthy self belief, healthy competition, financial counselling etc.

To one another, to the next woman, to the next generation, and you know the saying "The younger, the better".  So these girls can apply these useful advice to every area of their lives as they grow.

We at the foundation believe that if you can change an individual's mindset, you can change his state (orientation)and his estate or estate  as the case is here, and thereby making her an asset to her immediate sphere of contact and of course the world.

What Inspired You?

Well for me it became rather tiresome to complain and not be able to do anything. I wondered why girls were their worst enemies... I wondered why they accepted some false beliefs and lived by it...why they limited themselves and their abilities. Girls rock! Is a result of that thought process.

When Will the Foundation be Launched?

Was slated to launch for summer, but due to the immediate panic of the #Ebola spread, we have postponed to a future date.

How Do You Feel Being A Part of Such Inspiring Project?

Well... I feel fulfilled. I'm finally doing something as opposed to just talking about it. I feel good that I'm walking in the footsteps of great women all over the world like Maya Angelou, Folorunsho Alakija, Lagarde, Abike dabiri, Merkel etc..
