Iconic pop act drops surprise single 'What if'

The legendary pop act Prince has dropped a surprise single. The single 'What If' was released to support Prince's upcoming tour .

Prince premiered the track on the radio station WFPK in Louisville in America.

The track is Prince's cover of the track performed by Nichole Nordeman, a Christian pop singer and songwriter. Prince's version features vocals from Hannah Welton, the drummer of Prince's band 3rdEyeGirl.

Prince's tour starts on Saturday, March 14.
