On the eve of their departure for Toronto, where they will face Croatia in the Round of 16, the final training session near Miami's beaches was marked by a moment of gratitude from the Portuguese delegation to the hotel staff.

The appreciation for the hospitality received was expressed through a group photograph with all the professionals who directly assisted the Portuguese players and coaching staff over the past weeks.

Regarding the training session, Roberto Martínez had all players available on the field for the entire duration. This was a change from the previous day, when most of the starters against Colombia – with the exception of João Cancelo and Rúben Neves, who had been substituted at halftime – worked in the gym during the first part of practice.

Thus, on Tuesday, Diogo Costa, Rúben Dias, Renato Veiga, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Bruno Fernandes, João Félix, Pedro Neto, and Cristiano Ronaldo all participated in the exercises alongside their teammates, including the initial period open to journalists.

The Portuguese squad will spend one more night in Palm Beach before traveling to Toronto on Wednesday at 10:30 AM local time (3:30 PM in Portugal). There, in the early hours of Friday, they will battle for a spot in the World Cup Round of 16 against Croatia.

From now on, the Portuguese national team will no longer have a fixed base camp, instead traveling to each city where they are scheduled to play. To reach the semi-finals, after Toronto, the Portuguese journey will continue to Dallas, Los Angeles, and then back to Dallas, before the final set for New Jersey.
