Football legend Pele has opined that agents are killing football in Brail despite the country producing some of the world’s best footballers.

“We have not lost passion for football,” Pele who is India is quoted to say by the Press Trust of India news agency.

“Individually we have the best players but as a team we’ve a lot of problems.

“In my time the players belonged to clubs but today players are managed by their agents.”

Brazil started their 2018 World Cup qualifiers campaign with a 0-2 loss to Chile their first defeat to the country in 15 years.

The football  legend Pele has bounced back from his recent health problems after undergoing a surgery back in July.

Pelé, whose given name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento, had the surgery at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo.

With more than 1,280 career goals and an unequaled three World Cup titles during his playing career, Pele is considered by many to be the greatest soccer player of all-time.
