Brazil World Cup legend allays fear over health condition, visits Nigeria in 2015

Brazil legend, has dispersed fears that his condition has gotten worse after he was readmitted into a Sau Paulo hospital this week

The 74 year-old three time World Cup winner said in a statement that heis doing fine and was not transferred into but ''simply relocated to a special room within the hospital for privacy purposes only."

"I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I am doing fine.

"I was not put into intensive care.., I was simply relocated to a special room within the hospital for privacy purposes only," Pele said

Pele who is expecting to hit full recovery in a short time thanked fans and supporters for their prayers and love

"I am blessed to receive your love and support, and thank God this is nothing serious.

"I am looking forward to spending the upcoming holidays with my family, and will start the new year with renewed health, with many international trips already planned! Thank you!"

His manager, Paul Kemsley explained reason why the legend had to be relocated to a special room

He was relocated to a special area of the hospital for privacy purposes only, due to having an overwhelming number of visitors which prevented him from getting the necessary care and treatment.’’

On November 13, Pele was treated for a kidney stone infection but was later readmitted into hospital 10 days after when he developed a urinary infection

"Pele plans to spend the upcoming holidays with his family, and in the new year, he will recommence his busy worldwide schedule.

"Trips to Australia, China, Nigeria and Azerbaijan are already confirmed for the early part of 2015," Kemsley confirmed.
