Jonathan said the occasion was her last party that would be celebrated with the children and youths in the Presidential Villa.

She also used the occasion to thank them for their respect and love to her during her tenure in office.

However, the first lady enjoined them to be good and obedient children to their parents and remain patriotic to the nation.

The president's wife expressed confidence in the ability of Nigerian children to excel, adding that the future "is bright" for them.

Speaking to NAN, some of the children said they will miss the First Lady.

"Mummy Peace is very like-able and generous; she is always smiling and those are some of the things we will miss," Marissa Okorie said.

Another child guest, Bolaji Oguns said, "I like the way she dances and plays with us whenever we come to the Villa for parties; I pray the new first lady will be dancing with us and giving us gifts during party.’’
