Paraguayan Senator: Mbappé Should Be Careful, We Already Jailed Ronaldinho

The controversy surrounding French captain Kylian Mbappé and Paraguayan Senator Celeste Amarilla continues to escalate. It all began with a racist statement made by the politician against the forward after the match between "Les Bleus" and "Los Guaraníes," to which Mbappé responded with a sharp social media post.

Today, Amarilla issued a warning to Mbappé, recalling how Brazilian legend Ronaldinho was arrested in Paraguay years ago for using a fake passport. "I would tell him to be careful with Paraguayans. We already put Ronaldinho in jail for forgery. So don't underestimate me; I can sue you. I will not tolerate your hate speech. You have no idea who I am, nor do you have the right to call me a cursed woman, unworthy of the position I hold. If you don't retract your words, I can take legal action against you for sexism," she stated to local reporters.

Meanwhile, the Paraguayan government has officially distanced itself from Amarilla's initial statement, while in France, an investigation has been launched into the matter following a complaint filed by the country's football federation.
