Despite various aches and pains, Mikel Oyarzabal is determined not to rest as the Spanish national team prepares for their 2026 World Cup group stage clash against Uruguay. The "La Furia" forward is confident that his teammate Lamine Yamal can wreak havoc on the opposition's defense.
"I'm fine, even if I have a few minor aches. Everyone has some discomfort when they're in a tournament like this. I'm calm and I'm doing well," the Real Sociedad player told the media three days before the match against Uruguay.
On Sunday, the Spaniards defeated Saudi Arabia 4-0 and now have 4 points after two matches played in Group H.
"I definitely feel good and I want to play. He (Lamine Yamal) is one of the players making the biggest difference in the world right now. The chaos he creates for the opponent works entirely in our favor," added the 29-year-old Mikel Oyarzabal.
