Arsenal lists Nigerian born Chuba Akpom, drops Semiu Ajayi for Pre-season camping.

Arsene Wenger compiled the list of players he will be taking for the team’s preseason camping in preparation for the coming season.

It is mixed fortunes for two Nigerian youngsters Chuba Akpom and Semiu Ajayi as the latter was dropped from the Gunners New York pre-season tour team.

Semiu Ajayi who made his debut against Boreham Woodon July 19 was not lucky enough as his compatriot Akpom who was enlisted as part of the seven youth players included in the squad.

Chuba Akpom is the only striker in the team as the Frenchman Yahaya Sanogo was dropped too.

The team begins its pre-season campaign with a game against ex-Arsenal top striker, New York Red Bulls.
