Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has hit back at club legend turned Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry over claims that he is not good enough to fire Arsenal to the English Premier League titles.
Speaking after Arsenal 0-0 draw with champions Chelsea in April, Henry said Arsenal need more than Giroud to win a Premier League title.
"I think Giroud is doing extremely well but can you win the league with him? I wouldn't think so," Henry said on Sky Sports.
Giroud has however hit back at his fellow countryman, calling him a 'dull pundit'.
"I heard he was saying too many dull things. That was a bomb and it had its desired effect," the striker told French newspaper L'Equipe.
Giroud also opined that Henry has been paid to make controversial statements on TV.
