YBNL rapper Olamide has said he will never pay money to have an international collaboration.

Speaking with HipTV, the 'Shakiti bobo' rapper made it quite clear that he won't go down the route of parting away with cash for an international collaboration.

The rapper is of the belief that if he puts in the right amount of work, together with the grace of God, his music will speak for him and take him so far, giving him the deserved international recognition.

He made reference to Fela Kuti who didn't have to do any international collaboration to penetrate the international market.

"Fela no do any international collaboration before they recognise Fela for international market," the rapper said.

The 'baddo' rapper attributes the street as what makes him tick as an artist "We rep the streets and the street is the majority", he said.

The rapper is reportedly working on releasing his sixth studio album following "Eyan Mayweather" released in 2015.
