Super Eagles midfielder battles Lazio over unpaid wages

Onazi spent five seasons at the Serie A side before his summer move to Turkish top division club, .

“We have no option but to go to to ask the disciplinary committee to act on Lazio’s refusal to pay me,” Onazi told BBC Sport.

“My agent and lawyer have written to Lazio, but after two months we have heard nothing from the club.

“We all conclude that the only ideal thing to do is to approach FIFA to enable me to get what I worked for.”

Onazi joined Lazio in 2011 from Nigerian side, My People’s FC.  He made 110 appearances for the Italian side, scoring seven goals between 2011 and 2016.
