Watford on Monday, January 30 agreed a £20m fee with Changchun Yatai for the transfer of Ighalo who has been at the club since 2014.
According to sources, Ighalo has underwent and passed a medical as he gets set to sign for the Chinese Super League side.

It is not know where the medical was held but Ighalo is expected top sign a four-year contract with Changchun Yatai with an option for another year.
After a superb 2015/2016 season when he scored 15 Premier League goals, the 27-year-old has lost his place in Watford's starting XI.
Ighalo has managed just one league goal this season for Watford as his form nose-dived.
Watford got several offers for the 27-year-old from several clubs including fellow Premier League side West Brom .
Ighalo is set to become second Super Eagles player to move to China in the 2017 January transfer window following captain John Mikel Obi who signed for Tianjin TEDA.
A move to China has been on the table for Ighalo since January 2016 when a got an offer of £200,000 a week; a four-year contract from an undisclosed Chinese side.
He, however, rejected it to remain at Watford.
