Northampton Saints full-back Ben Foden has been dealt a severe blow with the news he will miss the rest of the season after picking up a serious knee injury.

Foden ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left leg during Saints' 20-9 victory at Ospreys in the European Champions Cup on Sunday.
The 29-year-old England international will now undergo surgery as he aims to be fit in time for the start of the 2015-16 season.
The injury rules Foden out of contention for being chosen for the upcoming Six Nations, which starts next month.
The severity of the problem also means that Foden is a doubt for this year's World Cup on home soil.
