The NFF has been rocked with crisis since Chris Giwa claimed that the September, 2014 election which put current president in office was faulty but his case has been ruled out by FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sports.

The House of Representatives’ Committee on Sports have now intervened in the crisis and backed Pinnick as the president.

The committee observed that Giwa frustrated the amiable resolution initiated to resolve the crises and showed lack of confidence and respect for the authorities.
