Players miss out on N500, 000 but impress with draw away at Rangers
Ahead of the trip to Enugu, Tornadoes chairman, Hon Adamu Aliyu promised to reward the players with N500, 000 if they win against Rangers.
The players however missed out on the money but got an impressive 1-1 draw away at the Champions.
Godwin Aguda scored for Rangers in the 40th minute before in-form Chidiebere Ajoku equalised for Tornadoes with seconds to go to the interval.
Tornadoes coach Abubakar Bala made two changes to thhe side that got him his first three points of the season against Wikki Tourist, including defensive midfielder Lukman Yahaya and striker Christian Attah.
Tornadoes are 17th on the table after five games and host Katsina FC in matchday six.
