Tornadoes were beaten away at MFM FC 3-0 in the first game of the season before a 1-1 draw at home to ABS FC and a 1-0 away loss to Rivers United.
They got their first win in the matchday 4 against Wikki Tourist courtesy of two goals from Ajoku who netted in both halves at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
Niger Tornadoes FC started the game in their opposition’s half but it was the visitors that got the first chance.
The Ikon Allah boys continued to press their visitors and were denied an early goal by Tourist goalkeeper Gambo Gideon.
Ajoku opened the scoring in the 27th minute, slotting past Gideon after calmly collecting a pass from Ibrahim Babawo Abubakar.
Tornadoes continued to press in the second half and got their reward in the 72nd minute Ajoku shrugged off two defenders to complete his brace.
The win takes Niger Tornadoes out of the relegation zone to 16th with 4 points from 4.
They travel to face reigning champions Enugu Rangers on Sunday, January 29.
