Onuoha has been impressive for Queens Park Rangers in the EnglishChampionship this season with 26 league appearances so far.

His impressive performances for QPR this season has attracted the interest of Moyes who is looking for options to bolster his squad.

According to , the Sunderland manager wants to bring back the 30-year-old QPR defender who spent the 2010-11 season on loan with the Black Cats.

Sunderland have conceded 42 goals this, the second most by any club in the Premier League this season and Moyes desperately wants to fix his defence.

The Scottish coach has already signed Joleon Lescott on a free transfer and is looking to add Onuoha to his squad.
