NDDC: Niger Delta stakeholders summit holds July 10th - 13th 2024
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) will be hosting stakeholders of the Niger Delta region for a 4-day summit to develop strategies for economic growth and development of the oil-rich region.
With the theme: “Renewed Hope for Sustainable Development of Niger Delta”, the summit seeks to bring all nine governors of the NDDC mandate states (Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers states) to a round table to cross-fertilize ideas on offering a lasting solution to the socio-economic difficulties in the Niger Delta region.
Apart from the governors, all other relevant stakeholders of the region are being expected at the summit scheduled for July 10th through 13th 2024 at the Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Center, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
At the end of the summit, it is expected that a roadmap towards the acceleration of Niger Delta's transition to a prosperous, stable and peaceful region will be designed.
The event will be covered live on NDDC Facebook (@OfficialNDDC) and YouTube (@nddconline) social media handles with the hashtags: #nigdelss24 and #nigerdeltastakeholderssummit2024.
