National Team Player, Champion, Finals MVP, and EuroLeague Record Holder: He Had the Shortest Elite Career! /VIDEO/
A former Maccabi player, back in 2016, had the briefest of stints on the EuroLeague court. He entered the game against Panathinaikos in Athens with just four seconds left in the third quarter. As the buzzer sounded, he returned to the bench, never to step onto a EuroLeague court again.
This memorable moment occurred on November 10th, in a game where the Greek team secured an 83-75 victory. Chris Singleton led PAO with 26 points, while Maccabi's Mike Zirbes contributed 12 points for the "Pride of Israel."
Throughout his career, Yivzori also played for Hapoel Gan Ner and Maccabi Haifa, where he delivered some of his best performances, notably playing a solid role in the EuroCup.
He represented the Israeli national team at EuroBasket 2015, reaching the round of 16. Yivzori concluded his playing career in 2019 with Ironi Nahariya.
Born in 1985, the 193cm (6'4") Javzori is widely regarded as one of Israel's finest shooters. He was a national champion in 2010 with Hapoel Gan Ner. Four years later, in 2014, he earned the MVP title of the Israeli championship finals. Interestingly, Dagan holds the unique distinction of being the only player to be named MVP despite his team, Maccabi Haifa, losing in the finals.
