Nigerian pop star Wizkid who was earlier awarded Best Africa Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016, has been stripped off the title by the organisers blaming it on some error.

The award as posted on their site has since been given to Tanzanian star singer Alikiba.

Social media reactions as expected have trailed the development, which has been a case of mixed reactions, with most holding strongly that Wizkid deserves the award more.
