Odubajo who was born to Nigerian parents is yet to make an appearance this season as he just recovered from a surgery on his knee injury.

As he prepared to make his comeback, the right back suffered another injury in a non-contact incident during training.

According to a statement by the Premier League club, the 23-year-old will undergo surgery to stabilise the fracture.

“Moses was assessed by surgeons in London yesterday [Wednesday] who stated the player would be required to undergo more surgery to stabilise the fracture and this will be undertaken early next week,” the statement read.

“Positively, the 23-year-old's knee ligaments remain intact, including the MPFL (medial patella femoral ligament) reconstruction he had in the summer. The club, staff and players wish Moses a full and speedy recovery from this latest setback.”

The England youth international was just recovering from a surgery on a knee injury he sustained in Hull City’s first pre-season friendly against Grimsby.

Odubajo who snubbed a call-up to the Nigeria U-23 side in October has six caps for England U-20.
