The news of this album being very much the rapper’s last may not come as surprise to many given the fact that the rapper has expressed displeasure over the reception of his album by the public.

“I put out a whole album nobody cared – a whole 20 track album Alphabetical Order, nobody gave a f**k, nobody cares. You see how the industry is, how do you expect me to feel? Nigerians don’t like hip hop they only follow the hype, they don’t even know what it is”, Modenine has been quoted as saying.

His last album “Above Ground Level” however made an attempt at appealing to the mainstream market with a feature of Mavin boss Don Jazzy in the track ‘Some more’.

We can still expect to hear from the rap genius through his collaborative projects he releases every few years.
