Iconic Hip-Hop act reunites with Timbaland for new album

One of the most successful female rappers of all time Missy Elliott has announced that she has hooked up with Timbaland.

The pair are laying the groundwork for the her next studio album.

Missy Elliott posted a picture of her and Timbaland in the studio on Twitter. "Me & @Timbaland bk 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats!" she tweeted.

Missy has worked extensively with Timbaland in her illustrious career which spans five platinum albums and one gold album.

The veteran rapper's digital catalogue saw a huge increase after her Super Bowl halftime performance with Taylor Swift.
