While "The King" is set to earn $3.8 million on his contract, young college athletes are surpassing that figure thanks to lucrative new NIL deals and endorsements. Most notably, two Serbian basketball prospects, Nikola Kusturica and Milan Momcilovic, have made the list of the 18 highest-paid players.

Momcilovic, nicknamed "The Serbian Nowitzki," opted to withdraw from the draft to suit up for Kentucky, with financial considerations playing a pivotal role in his decision. Meanwhile, for 17-year-old prospect Nikola Kusturica, who committed to prestigious UCLA, this will be his first major overseas venture.

Along with Kusturica and Momcilovic, the list of college players projected to make at least $3.9 million this season includes David Punch (Texas), Aiden Sherrell, Flory Bidunga, and Jackson Shelstad (Louisville), John Blackwell (Duke), JT Toppin (Texas Tech), Juke Harris (Tennessee), Massamba Diop (Gonzaga), Moustapha Thiam (Michigan), PJ Haggerty (Texas A&M), Samet Yigitoglu (Indiana), Senada Fru (Marquette), Thomas Haugh (Florida), Tunde Yessoufou (St. John's), Tyran Stokes (Kansas), and Zoom Diallo (Kentucky).
