Centre Matt Scott has been called into the Scotland squad for their Test series with Japan.

Scott comes in as a replacement for Alex Dunbar, who has been ruled out of the two-Test tour with a knee problem sustained playing for Glasgow Warriors this month.

Edinburgh player Scott, who will join Gloucester from the 2016-17 season, has 34 Test caps to his name.

The first Test takes place on June 18 in Toyota City with the second being held a week later in Tokyo.
