Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom,” THR Releases First Movie Poster

He comes alive in the screen. The poster  for the movie which chronicles the sublime life of Nelson Mandela, the Madiba of Africa has been unveiled by The Weinstein Company. Titled, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The film stars Idris Elba as South African president Nelson Mandela in the film, which is based on his autobiography which documents his early life, coming of age, education and 27 years in prison before becoming President and working to rebuild the country's once segregated society.

Also starring are stars Naomie Harris, Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz and Terry Pheto. The Justin Chadwick-directed movie will be released on November 29.
