English champions Manchester City are holding an auction featuring dozens of personal items from their former manager, Pep Guardiola. The collection includes handwritten notes, motivational letters to players, tactical plans, and several bottles of whiskey gifted to the specialist by various clubs.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to charity.
The club announced that the online auction will offer a variety of items from Guardiola's office. Among them are his training jacket, his desk chair, a lamp, a set of coffee mugs, souvenirs, and even a collection of incense.
The Spanish manager left the Citizens at the end of last season. In nearly a decade at the helm, he won six Premier League titles, as well as Champions League and Club World Cup trophies.
Manchester City has provided a link to a 360-degree virtual tour of the Spaniard's office, where the items for sale are marked for bidding on the "MatchWornShirt" website.
Part of the collection is a football with illustrations dedicated to Erling Haaland's journey to his 100th Premier League goal, personally signed by the striker. This item has already reached a price of nearly €3,000, with the auction set to close on Sunday.
Guardiola's coaching whistle is also up for sale, along with framed photos, one of which shows the Spaniard posing with his collection of trophies.
A set of his souvenirs, including two ceramic turtles and a painted star, has already attracted bids totalling €111.
