Artist Uses Make-Up Products For Paintings!

Malaysian artist-architect  Red Hong Yi caught our attention with her recent painting. She painted with make-up products! Think Mascara, foundation and lipsticks!

Yep, for her latest collection,’Make-Up Meets Chinese Art’ the artist used everyday make-up products as illustrations; she blended mascara and foundation into brilliant paintings.

On why she chose the unlikely duo of makeup and art, she offered on the project page; “Chinese art requires a lot of precision and skill – one stroke can make a huge difference I felt that this is similar to how a woman carefully puts on her make-up.”
