The "Young Eagles" already know their opponent for that stage: Greece. However, it appears Serbia might face their first elimination game without Vuk Danilović, one of the team's key players.

Predrag Danilović's son landed awkwardly after contact with a Danish player and had to be helped off the court by the medical team.

The initial situation looked concerning, and it remains uncertain whether Danilović will be available for the match against Greece, or for any subsequent games Serbia might play, whether in the medal rounds or classification matches.

Just a day after their loss to Turkey, which cost them a chance at first place in Group B, the Serbian U18 national team bounced back with a 74-66 victory over Denmark.

The "Young Eagles" had a dreadful start to the game, to say the least. Denmark opened with an 8-0 run in the first two minutes, hinting at another potential collapse. Serbia's first points came from Vuk Danilović, with 8:07 on the clock. This basket by the son of legendary Serbian basketball player Predrag Danilović seemed to spark the "Young Eagles," as they quickly got back into the game. They managed to draw level, but the first quarter still ended in Denmark's favor, 18-15.

Despite Serbia's surges, the Danes managed to maintain their lead throughout the entire second quarter. In fact, they not only held onto it but extended their advantage by one point more than at the end of the first quarter, heading into halftime with a 37-33 lead.

However, Serbia refused to give up. By the middle of the third quarter, they had turned the tide, taking the lead with a Nikola Roganović three-pointer (46-44). From that point on, there was no looking back for Denmark. Serbia steadily increased their lead, with Andrija Šušić and Đorđe Gnjato finding their rhythm. The "Young Eagles" entered the final quarter with a comfortable eight-point advantage, preventing any Danish comeback. This significant turnaround followed Vuk Danilović's injury, as he landed awkwardly and was helped off the court by the medical staff. The situation looked serious, and his availability for the remainder of the tournament is now in question.

The "Young Eagles" held a double-digit lead on two occasions, but ultimately secured the win by the same eight-point margin they had at the end of the third quarter, 74-66.

For Serbia, Danilović and Sušić were the top scorers with 11 points each, while Smith led Denmark with 17.

All four teams advance to the Round of 16. As Serbia finished second in Group B with a record of two wins and one loss, they will face Greece, who placed third in Group A. The Greeks defeated Austria by 28 points in the group stage but lost to France and Israel (after overtime). In short, despite their third-place finish, they are certainly not a team to be underestimated.
