Rapper announces 'Free Weezy' album

Young Money rapper Lil Wayne has announced that he will be dropping a new album called .

He made this known today Wednesday February 5, 2015 on his Twitter page.

"The Free Weezy Album...komin soon#FWA" he tweeted. This was followed by another tweet which read "Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. #FWA".

Lil' Wayne did not reveal the release date of the album.

This upcoming project reflects his ongoing battle with Cash Money Records.

Last week Lil Wayne sued the imprint for $51m. The rapper is seeking to leave the label, and wants to take his Young Money acts along with him.
